Many Voices, One Nation: Stories of Democracy in our Parks
On Display July 2026 – July 2027
Many Voices, One Nation, a Smithsonian Institution exhibition, on display at Heritage Village Museum & Park due to a generous grant from Florida Humanities, takes visitors on a chronological and thematic journey that maps the cultural geography of the unique and complex stories that animate the Latin emblem on the country’s Great Seal and the national ideal: E pluribus unum, Out of many, one. Developed in partnership with Eckerd College students and guest curator Jane Tomlinson, the local narrative, Stories of Democracy in our Parks, features historic photographs, personal stories, interactive experiences, and local perspectives that reveal how public spaces have shaped our shared heritage and democratic traditions.
