Exhibition Opening: The Citrus Wizard’s Journey – Lue Gim Gong and the Immigrant Spirit

This special event is designed to celebrate the extraordinary life and achievements of Lue Gim Gong, a pioneering horticulturist who made significant contributions to Florida’s citrus industry, and to honor the vibrant immigrant spirit that has enriched our community. Official opening remarks for the exhibition will take place at 11:30 AM May 2, 2026.

Who: Heritage Village Pinellas County Museum & Park located at 11909 125th Street N., Largo, FL 33774. Heritage Village is open Wednesday – Saturday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; Sunday, 1 – 4 p.m. Admission is free, but donations are welcome and benefit Heritage Village operations.
